JasMiyona Jackson
Youth Coordinator

Meet Jasmiyona Jackson. I’m a small-town country girl from Albany, La! My parents have always been my biggest supporters/motivators. I’ve attended Delta college of Covington La to obtain my certification in “Medical Office & Health Insurance Tech”. I have two children Aminee’ and Devin Coney whom I adore with my every being. I enjoy reading, writing, painting, shopping, traveling, and attending church services with my grandma! I am a private event decorator, and motivational Speaker. Within the years I survived a bone marrow transplant and beat cancer twice. That has led me to become a public figure of inspiration in my parish. I am currently realigning my practice to become a psychologist, so that I could be of help for my cancer community finding resources and counseling needed to carry others through their journey’s. This is me! (IBJ) Inspired By Jas-Strong !!!

Jerlesha Calahan-Fleming
CEO-Founder

Hello, I’m Jerlesha Calahan-Fleming a devoted wife, mother of three, and proud bonus mom to three more. I am the founder and CEO of Village of Hope LA (VOHLA), a nonprofit organization devoted to transforming lives through mentorship, community empowerment, and faith-based support. At my core, I’m a servant leader with a heart for healing, purpose, and restoration.

With over a decade of experience as a youth specialist, mentor, and community advocate, I’ve committed my life to uplifting the broken, guiding the lost, and walking alongside those who are navigating life’s toughest challenges. My work has especially focused on at-risk youth, families in crisis, and individuals reentering society after incarceration, helping them rediscover identity, break generational cycles, and reclaim their future.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and I believe in the power of second chances and God’s ability to rebuild lives. Whether I'm hosting leadership retreats, mentoring young women, delivering resources to struggling families, or launching faith-based books and teachings, I do it all with one mission in mind: to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a hurting world.

Through Village of Hope LA, my team and I offer youth mentorship programs, community outreach events, trauma-informed care, spiritual guidance, and leadership development opportunities all rooted in love, truth, and faith. I am also an author and speaker, passionate about preparing women for godly marriage, teaching biblical identity, and encouraging people to live boldly in their God given purpose.

This isn’t just what I do it’s who I am. And I thank God daily for trusting me to carry this mantle.
